Explore India tours & travels is about exploration, adventure, and above all it’s about warmth & hospitality. At Explore India Tours &Travels we believe in promoting tourism with a difference.  We organize special tour packages for Lakshadweep, Andaman & other inbound destinations with a view of helping people know the richness & versatility of Indian culture.  Culture shapes and flourishes because of the people who are living there and therefore, Explore India feels committed to them i.e. society at large.  Taking up gestures of appreciating people working in the social field & supporting their cause has always been on the agenda of Explore India.

Tourism has immense potential for learning & that too, in a culturally appropriate setting.  We like to bank on these opportunities and have specialized in educational tours.

We have also launched educational programs for overseas students who are interested in studying Indian cultural setting.  These courses will help students from all over the world to know more about Indian scenario & understand the soul of Indian culture.  Promoting positive social, cultural & environmental ethics and practices has been the aim of these programs which provide the opportunity for global cultural & educational exchange by offering experiential learning.

OUR TEAM:
We are a team of dedicated and efficient members headed by our director to provide best of the service.

DIRECTOR:
Mrs Mrudula Sawant is the Director of the educational program for overseas students. She arranges all rotations and relevant lectures for the participating students. Mrs Mrudula Sawant has done masters in social work from Nirmala Niketan college of Social works ( Bombay University). She started her career as a social worker with Asha Sadan Rescue home, a project run by Maharashtra State Womens Council for girl Juveniles in 1992-93.She has also worked with NGO Project SAKHYA- Anti Dowry Guidance Cell and NGO SEVA DHAN - counseling and rehabilitation center for drug addicts . Presently she is working as Community Development Officer with Bruhan Mumbai Municipal Corporation at Siddharth Municipal hospital. She is also working with Bandra Bhaba Muncipal hospital with the project called DILAASA - crises counseling center for women.

Ms. kiran Mohite Kiran Mohite has over three years' experience of working with International students from US, UK and Europe working as course co-ordinator for child health family international. She works to support students while they are in Mumbai. Being a manager with explore India tours & travels she will be responsible for overall coordination of the package tours. She has a degree in commerce and is currently studying for an L. L. B. (Law) degree. She is a good sportswoman having won awards at the national level in sailing, Pulling and swimming. She has also won many awards discus throwing, javelin and shot put. She has also worked as an AIDS counselor with Yuvak Prathitahn. Kiran was born and brought up in Mumbai.
